One of the hardest things to watch as a marketer who truly wants contractors to win… is seeing them blame “not enough leads” while bleeding out the ones they already have.

Schedule a recurring 15 min appointment w/ yourself every day to dial leads & treat it as non-negotiable. Or hire someone abroad to do this for you for $5-$10/hr. If your time is worth more than $5-$10/hr, this is a no brainer & will yield an ROI.
Show up on time to your appointments (shouldn’t even have to say this one but IYKYK)
Present the quote face to face (no emailing & crossing fingers)
Set next steps before you leave & stick to the timeline you’ve stated
Go ahead and assume that you are NOT the exception. Assume you are the rule.
Assume it takes 7 touches to see a conversion. Assume you’ll close more jobs if you sell face-to-face. Assume you will leave a bad impression and lose the sale if you no show or show late.
Fix those things & your business will grow faster than you think. You’ll find that you don’t need as many leads as you once thought.
And then, when you do increase lead volume… you’ll actually be READY for every opportunity that comes in.
